I have been married for 25 years this year and am the proud mum of two amazing adult children. I am currently in my 14th year of teaching and my third year at Te Kopuru School.
I am currently the SENCO. Which means I support students with additional learning needs to thrive within their learning environment.
I am a passionate teacher who places relationships at the heart of everything I do. I value open, honest communication with parents and whānau, and I take pride in encouraging students to become independent, confident learners.
Literacy is a particular strength and passion of mine. I work closely with students to set meaningful goals and support them in reaching their full potential.
While my expectations are high, I enjoy challenging students in a supportive way so they can become the very best learners they can be.
