Netball

Usually starts in May, three to four teams per season, they are put into Year groups. Netball is played at Dargaville Intermediate and Dargaville High School depending on their Year Group- they plays against Interschool Teams. Students aged 7yrs and up are able to participate.

Body Jam

Te Kopuru School participates in the Kaipara District Interschool Body Jam Competition held at Dargaville Town Hall, usually sometime in August; students can compete individually or in teams.

Swim for Life

Soundly based and well planned aquatic education delivered through schools is the most effective, efficient, and sustainable way to provide opportunities for all children to learn to swim and survive.

A fun day out with the Swim for Life people.

For some schools, the big issue is getting children to a pool and exposing them to a quality programme.

Kiwileles Festival

The KIWILELES are New Zealand's massed youth ukulele orchestra. They were established in 2007 and are a run-away success! The number registered for the NZUT KIWILELES programme has now reached 3,000+

Te Kopuru School participates at this festival every year, the festival is in Auckland and it's usually in November-December.

Every two years our Year 7 and Year 8, fly to windy Wellington for a week of fun and learning...they visit Parliament, Museum of Wellington, Te Papa, Capital E, view a Pantomime, rock climb and many other great things.
