Te Kopuru School will reflect the unique position of the Maori culture by honouring the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi and the bi-cultural foundations of Aotearoa New Zealand.  All students will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge of te reo Maori me ona Tikanga Maori.

1.4 Policies, Plans and Targets for improving the achievement of Maori students.

To improve Maori outcomes by delivering exemplary teaching and assessment programmes.

To continue to provide the learning of Te Reo Maori at levels 2, 3 and 4b across the school.

 To uphold the values of Pono, Tika, Aroha.
