Ko tatou tirohanga e whakaatu ana i to tatou whare, hei whakaatu i te ahurea o te atawhai me te ahurea o te ako me a tatou akonga, to tatou hapori me a tatou kaimahi

Our Vision, depicts our whare, symbolising a culture of care and a culture of learning with our students, our community and our staff.

Papatuanuku is the foundation of our School, the over riding symbol of respect. Respect for you, for me, for others and also our environment.

Kei roto i te whare nga uara o Pono, Tika me Aroha, whakaaturia ana rite te koru.

Entwined within the whare are the values of Honesty, Truth and Love, depicted as the koru.

Ka tu tonu whakaake a tatou Maunga Tokatoka.

Our Mountain Tokatoka stand proud.

Our Wairoa River runs to the great ocean

Nga Poutama. Ko to tatou ahu no te ako

Nga Poutama. Our progressions for learning

Ko ta matou Whakatauki Kura
Our School Proverb

' We climb the mountain of knowledge
to search for the treasures given to us by our ancestors
Our Maori ancestors, our Pakeha ancestors, and our ancestors of the World.'
